In a significant move towards enhancing urban development in Iraq, the Chairman of the Swedish Knowledge & Research Center (SKRC) and Scand Experts Hub recently held a pivotal meeting with Eng. Ahmed Al-Mahna, the Director of the Department of Urban Planning in Al-Najaf Governorate.

The purpose of the meeting was to introduce SKRC’s capabilities and expertise in research and knowledge transfer while announcing the proposed Swedish Village project, which has been identified as a key initiative under the Scand Experts Hub’s portfolio. 

The meeting, which also included Dr. Eng. Muntasir Sherif and Consultant Eng. Qahtan Abdul-Karim Rifaat, was marked by productive discussions that underscored the potential impact of the Swedish Village on the region's urban landscape.
